Sunshine Coast

2017 Dates

Saturday 18th November - Saturday 25th November

Roles

Sunshine Coast is a great, relaxed place to volunteer as part of the Red Frog Crew. Schoolies accommodation providers span the coast from Caloundra to Noosa accommodating approximately 1000 young people.

School leavers encounter the Red Frog Crew through hotel visits, street teams and our free pancakes and BBQ’s. Red Frogs are asked to provide some live-in chaplains; this role assists management and residents in buildings that have a large number of Schoolies.  The role of a live-in chaplain on the Sunshine Coast is to provide 24 hour rostered support to that building.

Schoolies Chaplains

Schoolies Chaplains on the Sunshine Coast can volunteer for a minimum of 2 nights at any stage during the week. To get the most out of the week, Red Frogs recommend you volunteer for 7 nights, however Red Frogs understand that due to work commitments this sometimes is not possible.

Each night starts around 6pm and finishes around 1am, depending on the schoolies (of course). Red Frogs also cook pancakes and run activities all through the day, so if you’re available, we can definitely use you! If you are applying to volunteer at the Sunshine Coast from another location, please note that accommodation for Red Frog chaplains is very limited and therefore it is preferred that Sunshine Coast residents apply to volunteer in this location.
