What Red Frogs Believes

Red Frogs believe that having a presence festival using the following strategies, greatly increases the opportunity for a Red Frog volunteer to identify and refer sick patrons to appropriate care. Being a fence at the top of the cliff instead of being the ambulance down the bottom means that Red Frogs pride themselves on getting to incidents just in time, instead of just after time.

Red Frogs have been a part of some of Australia’s largest music festivals and other major events including Schoolies and University parties, and have seen incredible favour and brand recognition whereby Red Frogs has become a familiar and ‘safe’ brand, which builds instant rapport with the Australian youth and young adult demographic.

Red Frogs at Music Festivals

The purpose of Red Frogs at music festivals is to work in close proximity and with a transparent relationship with the First Aid contractor in order to provide a holistic crowd care strategy where the medical response becomes pro-active instead of re-active.

This is achieved via strategies employed by Red Frog volunteers throughout the festival site for the entire duration of the music festival. These strategies include:

1. Chill-out Zone,

2. Hydration Tent,

3. Pit Teams,

4. Roving Teams.

In touch with the Youth Market

Many music festival and party-goers are between the ages of 18-25 years old, and have encountered the Red Frogs Crew frequently at Schoolies, Uni ‘O-weeks’ and various music events for over 18 years.  The Red Frog Crew is known by a high percentage of Australian youth and young adults as a fun and safe party support services. It is extremely common to have festival patrons expect Red Frogs at these events, and these attendees have familiarised themselves with what Red Frogs do and how to access the crew with any needs or concerns they may face.

To the patrons our service is free.

Red Frogs is a volunteer organisation which helps keep our costs down. We ask that the festival covers basic resource costs (upon contact we can advise you how much this cost will be).
